Welded Poem by B. Sven Telander

Welded

Raw dogs roam in
rattlesnake heaven;

each new discovery
breeds a new threat.

Exponential bliss brings
exponential terror

with militaristic embrace;
only the shadow of a key

can open that door as dregs
of the rainbow swirl

into oubliette, casualties of
a mad dance frontier.

Horizon's eye
closes night's iris,

such a casual array of addictions
under the brightness of that virulent star.
