Well We Wept Poem by Moth Harris

Well We Wept

I catch a tear and I seem to hear
that this here tear fell from the sky
I look at you and I, I wonder how and why
A star must have died and you cried
well I wept, well we wept, where we were
We thought maybe we'd fall too
I turned blue thinking of losing you
Then he spoke again, listen close my friend
As long as you treasure the ones you love
You never lose them in your heart
Whether deceased or far apart
but you, you have no need to worry
She's in no hurry to flee or faint
Or paint any tears in her midnight sky
So it's just her and I
Until time decides
...to end...
