West Is The Best Poem by eeel lee

West Is The Best

Which direction do we go when the changing winds pass?

When the compass starts spinning,

Hesitancy starts to surpass.

There is no wrong direction,

On this road that never ends.

Natures imperfections teach us,

That the road comes with twists and bends.

When you gain a deeper understanding of yourself,

You'll see that you have a unique code,

So when the compass starts spinning,

You'll no longer want to follow the straight road.

You'll want to move with the twists and bends,

The way a hummingbird flies through the gales.

You may no longer hear the humming,

But the bird never fails.

I go to unknown places,

I see fearful faces,

Scared of the unpredicted direction,

Fearful it will take them to unknown spaces.

Deep inside, they know which way is right,

They know all of the answers,

To get them through this dark night.

When the compass says north,

Trust in life and go west.

The unpredicted direction,

Is what helps you pass the test.
