What a Paradox!
Beauty emerges
Out of ugliness,
Ugliness evolves
Into colorful beauty,
Sounds surprising
And incredible,
But true it is, believable,
Caterpillar detested
As an ugly creature,
Gobbling green leaves,
Destroying plants,
But the same caterpillar,
Undergoing many phases,
Gets transformed
Into beautiful butterfly
Fluttering its colourful wings,
Flitting and hovering
Over blossoms in gardens,
Offering visual feast
As a spectacle of wondrous,
Colourful beauty,
Aiding plants in pollination
On its invisible service,
What's detested
As an ugly creature
Amazingly metamorphosed
Into marvellous beauty
Of aesthetic pleasure,
'What a mysterious paradox
Mother Nature creates
With her artistic designs
And skills.'
