What About Me? Poem by Montaha Gasir

What About Me?

You gave everything to him.
My feelings to the cup's brim.

What about me?

Smiling on the outside.
Broken heart, I try to hide.

What about me?

Boys are all that matter.
Their pride just gets fatter.

What about me?

A tough facade is all I show.
Hold on tight, I cant let go.

What about me?

On my face, plastered rejoice,
Deep inside, a sorrowful voice.

'But what about me...? '
