What About Them? Poem by jhonny jean

What About Them?

We favor you own skin
Writing wills to our next of kin.
But what about them;
Those unfortunates in gutter dam
Wheeling their life in broken carts
Among other shadowing thwarts,
Unwillingly await the sorrow of tomorrow
With that plaguing disease so called ‘wino’

But what about Them;
Those fading un-sparkle gems
Those dying crows
Chasing end of rainbows,
Smelling the bitter taste of suicide
Dying in the chilling street-side,
Those Jane Does and John Does of society
Who cannot drink from the success cup of liberty
While many have successful stories to tell;
“I Work on Wall Street you know, (Buy and Sell) .”
