What Am I To Do Poem by David Ritter

What Am I To Do

My sweet Jesus, I call out to You.
Oh, sweet Jesus, what am I to do?

If ever I needed You, now is the time.
Search my heart; I'm sure You will find
Pain and hurt like never before.
With each passing day, I need You more.
Help me to do that which is right,
So others may see in me Your perfect light.
Please forgive me for the mistakes I've made.
At the foot of the cross, my sins I've laid.
Thank You for dying on the cross for me
And giving me new life for eternity.
For this, my life will never be the same.
May I bring honor and glory to Your sweet name.

My sweet Jesus, I've called out to You!
Oh, sweet Jesus, what am I to do?
