What Am I To You?
What am I to you?
O heartless one
What do you want from me?
O my menacing demeanor
Am I just a puppet you can play with?
Or a friend you can trust?
I fear, dear one, that all I am is a dream
A dream within a dream
The one you thought of so that you wouldn’t be alone
I am nothing more to you
Than just a grain of sand in the ocean
