will God bless me with friendship
or burden me with your presence
give me the spotlight to dry
my heartwrenched tears
friend, bestfriend, lover, boyfriend
all excepted
but unexceptable
friends or fun, love or hate?
explain to me your reasoning
show me the light at the end of this tunnel
to adventure into the unknown
or unknowingly be crushed
my mind decieving
my thoughts revealing
chase my dream, of you
or let a downpore of regret
captivate me
may God bless me with friendship
because the beauty portrayed through your presence
is overwhelming.
