what are you afraid of?
are you just like me
with a fear of your own thoughts
and having no one but yourself as company?

what are you afraid of?
are you just like the past
with a fear of any change
and a desperate need to last?

what are you afraid of?
are you just like a ghost
scared to move on
and leave the ones you loved the most?

i know what you're afraid of
you're just like us all
you fear Fear itself
and you're deathly afraid to fall
