What Are You Waiting For? Poem by Alesia Leach

What Are You Waiting For?

A woman broken and insecure.
Living in doubt, her purpose unsure.
Feeling worthless, the hurt bone deep,
she walks the night with eyes that weep.

A gentle caress against her cheek,
she turns to hear him speak.
Close your eyes and open your heart,
unless I should depart.

Ensnared by playful brown eyes,
she swallows her fear and surprise.
Gently slipping her hand in his,
show me where your desire is.

A smile of such amorous heat,
her heart skips a beat.
Let me take you on a journey,
we'll go slow there's no need to hurry.

Don't be afraid to lose control,
passion can free your soul.
Let me help you to decide.
I see the woman you are inside.

What are you waiting for?
