What Can'T Be Forgotten Poem by Justin Hendricks

What Can'T Be Forgotten

There's no way to forget what I've lost.
Forgetting would be impossible in this life.
Remembering though will harm at such a cost.
Even more than my blood stained knife.

Such a rariety to find true love.
That doesn't give up or crawl away.
There are no stars shining above.
No light in such a bright day.

What's forgotten cannot be resolved.
No love is there until your death.
Only our hearts will continue to evolve.
Holding on to my one last breath.

No cage here to trap your hopes.
No net to trap your dreams.
Only this life holding the ropes,
Till the end of my time it seems.
