What Comes To You Poem by chad fisher

What Comes To You

Although I wanted to be,
I can now plainly see,
I wasn't the right man for you;
The one who made you feel loved and true.

And no matter how I tried to become a better man,
I didn't do it soon enough, even though I still know I can,
For now you've gone and think of me no more,
And yet, for you, in my heart lies an open door.

Even if you decide that I am not right for you later on,
I'll try and understand, though I'll still miss you now that your gone.
Take, care, have fun, and don't let life slip away,
For you never know what comes to you on any given day!
