What if I said that I was sorry.
That my mind lied and my heart played tricks.
If i said that you clipboard was the only thing I had done that I cared about.
That when I saw you that day, at Sonia's, that I fell in love with you again.
If I said that I heard your voice, wispering to me at night.
That I would feel the brusht of you skin against mine and jolt awake, with only darkness to comfort me.
What would you have said?
What if I fell to my knees and kissed your feet.
Sprinkled them with my tears.
If I looked into your eyes and searched for hope.
Got lost in them.
If I put my hands on your face and held it.
Even kissed your forehead.
What would you have done?
