Its like a panic attack
I’m wishing you would pick up the phone
My heart starts beating faster
Why am I so alone?

When did this party end?
I don’t remember falling asleep
Finally your voices floats down the line
And my heart begins to leap

I can’t think of what to say next
‘Hello’ is all I hear
Suddenly you feel so much nearer
Like you’re whispering in my ear

I feel your breath on the back of my neck
‘I need you’ is all I say
We pause for a second and I hear you smile
‘I’ll be there right away’

You hang up and I’m lonely
Hugging my knees to my chest
All I want is for you to be here
Until then I won’t rest

I hear a knock at the door
And am already sprinting to let you in
The door swings open and I jump into your arms
You greet me with a grin

I kiss you hungrily and you kiss back
I’m not alone anymore-
‘Oi wake up! ’ someone shouts
‘Ahhh! What’d you do that for? ! ’
