What Do The Indian Folks Take It For Auspicious? Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

What Do The Indian Folks Take It For Auspicious?

The sighting of the owl, the grey owl, the white owl
For bringing good fortune with regard to wealth and prosperity,
A pair of mynah birds, grey in colour
For love life and happy feelings,
Curd and turmeric paste on the forehead
When about to go
Or fish seen whether through selling or sighting of,
Red hibiscus flowers falling from Kali's offering
And the devotee collecting it,
O my goodness,
The touching of the cobra snake body
As per the version of the charmer
And when in the basket with a red cloth cover
The charmer making you touch a bit under his supervision,
Offer you red hibiscus flowers to Kali
And wear you if possible golden rings,
Sometimes people take it for auspicious
When the charmer gives you a bit of the red towel
Flung over the cobras mating
And when you go for outing and you see a calf
Taking milk from the udder of the cow,
When you sight a blue bird it is also considered
It is for good luck.
