What Do You Want? Poem by Gio Masserati

What Do You Want?

What do you want from me?

My heart is Frozen in time
So am I
My being is stuck in these rhymes
So am I

I'm lying here wondering
How to relate
Will it be too late?

I can't move the earth for you
If my misery stayest true
I only know how to be
Inside a relationship
Or outside in singleness
The courting it seems is very tricky
If you don't pursue me
We will surely miss out
On loving each other
Because I tend to run shy
and away
But if you find a way
To hold me
I'll be your palm
To bend and sway

I'll be your wife
Your lifelong days

I'll be there with you
each night and day
