What Happened Before - Poem by Jersey Will

Check the facts,
you had a fool last,
gave you a sad past.
But I don't have a Delorean,
I can't change all that

Just cause he hurt you,
don't mean I'm goin to hurt you.

The past ain't for
holdin back the present.
Its like folklore,
stories to represent,
guidence to what happened before.

It took a boy to,
close your heart.
But a man will
open your heart.

Put away your fears,
the kid will bring no tears.
