What Happened Then...
you got your iphone
put on your earphone
oh it was easy for
you to shut me off from
your world,
you are lost and i let
it be and something too
happened to me
it was that time when
i began talking to my Lord,
praying for things that
i have no more control of.
that ease to forget,
those hands that open and
set free the caged birds,
to praise the open skies
to love such a vast space.
