What happens to a dream
that we can no longer remember?
Does it fade to the farthest place from our consciousness?
Is it just beyond our reach of knowing?
Or could it just be right there, yes right there
in our sleep as we wonder between each thought?
Does our conscious just press each dream
further inside who we are?
So that we may just forget our every existence,
and become no more.
Why can’t we see our dream,
that lingers within the perception of our awareness.
Could it be that our dream sits and waits
within the complexity of what we know,
just holding on for the right time
to come forward and announce itself.
Could it be because we just forgot to dream.
