i can be
whatever you want me to be
i can be a whisper
to your ear

on storms
i can be the lighthouse
of your lost ship

when something sinks
give me the sign

i can grieve
and turn off the light
i can offer
the consolation of darkness
it will be so dark
it will be, it will be
