What I Need Poem by Lisa Autry

What I Need

I don't need a man to make me complete
Whiskers on the sink, pee on the seat.
I don't need a man out on the town
Coming home late and putting me down.
I don't need a man to map out my day
Telling me who I can see and what I can say.
I don't need a man down on his luck,
Shirking his work, blinging his truck.
I don't need a man limiting me,
Just some high tech toys
And a box, full of batteries!

Very witty. Like a fish needs a bicycle.
