What I Need Poem by Arrogant Bandit

What I Need

Cling to the norm
just another robot
waiting to be told
what to do.

Peg me as a useless,
incompetent fool.
Who has no place to go,
no plans, and a future
that is not yet formed.

My heart is loud, yet stumbles.
Childish in every way,
being naive is my choice of reality.
Holding on to the past
because i know it still exists.
Frequent visit to moments I
felt torn down.

The world is bleak,
people tones make me weak
to sensitive to speak, but
its all buried underneath
a pleasant smile.

How much longer must i walk through
life with closed eyes and shut lips?

*Shoulder shrug*

Hello poet Arrogant. Your poem speaks of one of the great mysteries we all will face from time to time. I enjoyed. I do want to thank you again for your recent visit to my work. Loyd
