Slow ticks the time passes by

Old clicks don’t seem to click anymore

Make me sick some more

Help me remember what we’re here for

I know who I think about everyday

One sided it must be

She tells me that I have no idea what I want

When I just want her to love me

My feet no longer touch the ground

Feeling lifted

Have I died, I don’t believe so

But parts of me feel like their days are limited

Lost my spirit is

I say now I can hear you

When you tell me I don’t know what I’m looking for

I’m looking for that girl that I adored

Has she partied her life out of mine

Hush my angel

Know that one day I’ll be fine

After I’m long forgotten

I’ll have mine, I’ll have mine

I’ve been searching for you

Yeah, you and that person on the inside I know you can be

Where is she hiding

And why hasn’t she said anything to me

Want to see want to feel

The only things that make days real

So long I have been dreaming this nightmare

As I fall asleep, I awake to what I want

But you tell me this is not so

Maybe in time I’ll realize

That is not that I don’t love you

But that I only love you more

You make me feel like a better person

In time, I am a better person

Then I remember why I love you

Because you bring feelings and memories

I never thought were possible to my heart

And I’m lifted

I love you

Because every time I'm with you

I never touch the ground

It's not that I want this
it's that my heart can't resist
and insists that this is real
