What I Want To Be Poem by Pradip Chattopadhyay

What I Want To Be

I could be what I want to be.
I could be a mole
In a secret hole
Scared of light
Coming out at night!
Or in habit
As shy as rabbit
Sniffing in doubt
Seeking hideout!
Growing bigger
I could be a tiger
Burning bright
In glorious might!
Or more majestic
Towering over the weak
A graceful giant
I could be an elephant!
If it may please
I could be any of these
But what I want to be
Is a sky hugging tree.
