I saw your face
In all my dreams
Every night
It was haunting me
All the things
I wish I'd done
But it's too late now
You're long gone
And i missed you less
And less each day
But all the regret
Won't go away
Because I wish I'd had
Just that one kiss
That you said
That you promised
And all I can do now
Is wonder what if
And think about how
I could have prevented this
And I can tell myself
It wasn't my fault
But having gone through the heartbreak
I'm wondering if it could have been stopped
And the pain is fading
But I'll never know for sure
And I'll wonder daily
Could there have been a cure?
