What If? Poem by Tiny Rekoj

What If?

What if the truth was always a lie?
What if you the let The One pass you by?
What if you let go a minute too soon?
What if you changed the radio on your next favorite tune?
What if the trees held the secret to life?
What if the answers are all filled with strife?
What if the sun didn’t dry up all the rain?
What if the dragon was released and not slain?
What if the wind whispers names in it’s sleep?
What if the stakes at this table where way too steep?
What if crying was another way to lie?
What if laughing was really being shy?
What if when it rained the dogs didn’t blink?
What if no soap could was away the stink?
What if all the clouds could sing?
What if after every yawn there was a Ding! ?
What if the moon told stories during the day?
What if after the rain left the rainbow did stay?
What if the heart never fell apart?
What if death is only just the start?
