What does Christmas mean to you?
Did you ever think of what Mary had to do?
About all the pain that she had to go through?
Does that even make you feel blue?
On that night in the barn of a stranger.
She gave birth in an old straw manger.
Out of her came a beautiful loving child.
To save this world that had gone wild.
From God to man he came that day.
So the price of death we do not pay.
The life after of the sinner he did preserve.
Instead of the tragic death that we deserve.
If you're bankrupt and the bills are overdue.
Just give and believe that God will bless you.
You give to give and not to get.
When you're in need God will bless you bit by bit.
On Christmas you give even if you don't got.
Buying someone that something doesn't require a second thought.
Christmas is about giving your life and your love.
And remembering that it is God that sent us both from up above.

Good depiction of the essence of Christmas - A season to commemorate the birth of Jesus, nicely penned in good rhyme scheme with conviction. Thanks for sharing Tiny. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
