So many times I asked myself WHAT IF?

What if I would've loved you harder?

What if I would've been less selfish?

What if I would've not put my guard down?

What if you would've held on a little tighter?

What if you would've just let me love you?

What if you would've never left me?

So many what if.

Yet the only what if that haunts me at night is...

What if you return but I can't take you back?

What if you reach out to me but all I do is push you away?

What if I put my guard down and you hurt me once again?

What if I take you back and we live a beautiful life together...

Is the what if that kills a person...

but is also the what if that makes u stronger...

What if I find someone that truly loves me?

What if there is someone out there that won't hurt me?

What if you where just a lesson and my true happiness is out there waiting for me? What if I can forget about you and love someone else that truly wants me?

See is That what if? That keeps me up at night. What if you are not my happy ending?
