As The Night Falls Poem by Just Ruby

During the day I smile I breath I live... During the day I move on as if the world hasn't broken me.... When the sun starts going down my heart starts beating fast....It already knows the drill.... My brain start to fill with thoughts and memories as the night gets near.... And once it is here my heart starts to sink my brain starts to think and my thoughts start to rise.... On my pillow I cry as my thoughts start to haunt me... The memories of you start to break me in two... As I scream in my head 'Don't you want to forget? Don't you Want to end the pain? What do you gain by the memories you hold? ' And then I remember what I was told 'There is nothing to wait for.... I know that I love you but you are not the one that completes me' Once the night is finally here my pillow is wet my tears have disappeared....my brain seems to be slowing down... And once the sun comes back up it will start all over again... Every morning I will wake up with a smile and I will walk into the world as if I never shed a tear because you are no longer here.... And when the night starts to fall my pillow will hear all of my secrets and dry up all of my tears...
