What If Poem by Kelsey Decker

What If

Rating: 5.0

Tonight i made a wish
Upon a shooting star
Wishing to be yours
Yet to you im just a shadow
But still i wonder what if?

What if you noticed me
Saw me looking at you
Would you speak to me
Aknowleding my existance

What if we were meant to be
For it seems to me
That we are a perfect fit
Because when i see your eyes
I can see us, and a beautiful life

What if you were mine
Here at my side
Holding me in your arms
Would you stay by me
Through the thick and thin

What if i became your wife
Living by your side
For the rest of your life
Till death do we part

What if we had kids
Are they gonna be like you
Charming and wonderful
The sweetest children alive

What if is what i keep asking
For when i think of you
I feel my heart racing
Wishing you were mine
One that i want to fall in love with

Not a word can explain
How my world turns upside down
When i see your green eyes shine
Under the moonlight sky
Like a star in the night
