What If? (The Silent Leaders) Poem by Orbiam Simon

What If? (The Silent Leaders)

A slave has fallen in a well
For he was sent at night
A slave has been eaten by wolves
For he was out for firewood
A guard is on fire for rescuing a maid
And no one seems to queench him
How many more will the king loose?

The king is unquestionable
The royal hood can't be questioned
Though many words are forcing my tongue
Itching for opinions
What if all slaves are dead?
What if all guards are vanished?
What if
If nothing is done

When the enemies attack again
The princes and princesses can be in danger
For the king and queen can't protect them
The kingdom will be gone.
