What If You Can? Poem by roudan roudan

What If You Can?

You have to imagine your favorite landscape
It could be a mountain or it could be the sea
It could be a valley or it could be a desert
But whatever it is you are there without me.

You are on your own to find what you're missing
And if what you're missing is what you need
At the end of the skies where horizons are kissing
The black earth is waiting for a new kind of seed.

You have to imagine your favorite weather
It could be warmth of the sun or just tears of rain
It could be the chill or the mist of the mountain
Or it could be the wind that carries the grain.

Why do you have to imagine you're asking?
because you have to discover your truly own!
Reality is so much better than dreaming, you're thinking...
Its palpable, but it will change when you're gone.

Imagine you are nothing but nature
Imagine you are free from your human restraint
Be free from your ego's possession
A free soul cannot be taint.

Imagination is the supreme freedom
Daring to dream is the courage of youth
Wisdom is the power to listen
Understanding love is the absolute truth!
