What Is Christmas You Ask? Poem by tori peaty

What Is Christmas You Ask?

For some it is the children singing
Other it is Santa's sleigh bells ringing
Some People love the frosty nights
Some look forward to the snowball fights

For most they want to find the gifts under the tree
Grinches shall let the family be
Some will wait for the reindeer
Or celebrate the night with a hearty cheer

So Christmas has come at last
None much different then the past
Little ones so sincere
Fill up with Christmas cheer

let the family be? do you mean leave the family alone? not the usual picture of christmas, but i'm sure it would work for some. i liked snowball fights if i didn't get hit. same with summer horse chestnut fights. i liked and still like (if i hadn't moved to near san francisco) the building of snow men, and women, and other things. thanks for sharing. b.e.
