What Is Death

What is death
What is death but
a ticket to the world beyond.
Spirit and soul departs
from our mortal bodies,
and ascends,
To a place many have only dreamed,
where we behold the beauty
of the glory of the Almighty,
As we walk through His pearly gates,
We hear the cherubim sing
and fall before His throne,
So we join in true worship of the triune God,
Yes! death is but a vehicle to eternity.
So when I leave, Do not weep,
beloved, do not mourn,
But rejoice and again I say rejoice,
as one does, for one
who has made a gain!
