I am floating in a sea of apprehension
With worry and doubt as stars above
No call is to lost to be echoed around
Thoughts are silent as the gravity tugs
I am skipping on stones of confusion
Avoiding the rapidly grabbing chaos
Just staying out of the mess of life
Making survival the ultimate pay off
I am silent to the world of chattering
In a forest of meaning, silence drowns
No interpretation can bring life near
Alone encircled by life I will be found
I am walking a familiarly strange path
With steps no longer firm as they take
Unsure of nearing objects and needs
Compelled to go on, even as I break

Yes Ruth: I can see the light dawning as you write. What is happening to you? I can tell you, you are growing up and grasping at life in a confusing world. Adeline
