What Is Love (A Sonnet) - Poem by Moffat Mbuzi

Love is a stone,
When thrown in the waters
It disturbs the water surface with riples,
Causing wonder to all water creatures as it sinks;
Mystiriously it lies underneath.
Covered by liquid dust on the sea bed
No one knows why, how and where.....
and forever it lies beneath.

    Love is boon
    When pressed to heart
    it deep beneath spreads bed
    asleep in dreams
    it miracles web
    music and paintings
    magic potions composed within
    it makes you a child
    and you act in riddles
    maddened by lust
    frenzied with powerful thrusts
    sleeping love spirals you undressed.............
