What are the days without your smile's sunlight?
What are the nights without your eyes' glimmer?
What is my heart without your love's delight?
What am I without your devotion so tender?
What is a life without your tenderness?
What is a second without you, soulmate?
What is the air without the warmth of your breath?
What is my soul without you, my gift from fate?
What are the alphabets without your words,
That enter my ear and linger in my heart?
Each day my soul lives a blessed rebirth,
Blooming as a lotus in your love's spark.
Who would love, pamper my heart as his own?
Who would be my shelter? Who would be my home?
