What Is War - Poem by Tyrone Sawyer

They told my brother
To take the service exam
They told him he passed
So they sent him to Nam.
They told him to fight
For what his family believed in
They told him to kill
Because survival was no sin.
They told him don't listen
To the enemies cries
They told him it was
Just more enemy lies.
They told us the things
My brother said before he died
He said 'Just as the Truth,
A lie has two sides.'
