What It Takes Poem by Rex-mayor Ubini

What It Takes

Beckon I you, come with me
Place your peeping feet
On each of my footprint
On this path of poetry
Follow me on this journey
But give not your legs
To the shackles of fears
As I walk beyond this space
Of cold and lonely words
Follow me on every direction
To a planet of spanking men
Whose heads grow diamond hair
And in this place is the answer
To that your lips shiver to move
That is what it takes to be a writer.
