What Jesus Might Say… Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

What Jesus Might Say…

Rating: 5.0

So often I see and hear requests
Asking me for many special favors
That border on the edge of excess
You pray to me... your redeeming saver

Your life on earth is comparatively brief…
Problems you create are insurmountable
I am always here to listen and give relief
But know this, clearly you are accountable

Children you have choices to wisely make
When you make decisions… carefully select
Commandments were not designed to break
Your life will be rewarding if you show respect

I will guide when you ask me for assurance
I will lift you to your feet if you misstep or falter
I will forgive and anoint you with endurance
As you offer thanks and think of others at the altar.
