The wind forgave the trees
For getting in its way
The ocean thanked the sand
For giving it boundaries
The earth befriended the sun
For giving it light to see
The songs shared with words
For giving them meaning
The night worshipped the days
For giving it time to sleep
My heart is begging you
To take it away
You gave me everything
