A glimmer that starts in the corner of the eye
A shimmering scent of red apples baking in a pie
that tickles my brain whenever you pass by
and then becomes a quivering shaking feeling
that controls my tongue and turns it into mush
whenever I try to say your name.
then moving ever onward squeezes my lungs
into breathlessness that leaves me weak inside
whenever I think of you, Finally it finds its target
and settles down like a contented kitten purring
in the corner of my heart, at last become what it
always was meant to be-a funny pain
around the heart that can't be scratched
