What Might The Almighty Say About Us? Poem by Singleton M. Tate

What Might The Almighty Say About Us?

Oh Man of Great Blindness
stiff-necked and disobedient
hollow and without knowledge
nor any substantial insight

Walking the Earth
stinking
and
ladened
with sins
As you
only delight
in the things
of
carnality
As
Devastation becomes Thee

I See
all
thy comings
and thy
goings
I
neither
Slumber nor Sleep
The
Great I AM
Creator of Man

For My Tears
flood the clouds
which gather
over
each life
As no soul thinks
twice
about
My
Desires unto them For Good

No,
they wander
aimlessly
dying
As they cling
to unabridged darkness
for their
hearts gallop
in gaieties
Swelling with Haughtiness

My Statues and My Laws
they curse
and
cast behind
their backs
As they
Beseech Me
for
My
Showers of Blessings

Cries Come
unto
Me
only
when they
are not able
to make their
own way
out of
their
self-made
affictions
and
Embedded Iniquities

Yet,
'tis not
their spirits
that I hear
Only
vain lip service
With hearts
that are
of a
perpetual
backsliding
and
Consumed with Deceit

My Love
I sent unrestrained
I have been
Longsuffering
As
My
Soul seeks
for
Holy
Relationship Reverence Devotion and Obedience

How Long
Oh Foolish Man
Wilt thou
only
seek to do
wickedness
every second
As
your
Days are Numbered

The time will come
when
your sins
will overflow
Then what
will ye answer
As
your
Day of Reckoning is at Hand

Pour out your hearts and souls
Unto Me All Ye Inhabitants of the Earth
As the days are evil and time is short
And a sudden cutting off is evident

All Prophesies Shall Come To Pass...
