Within my heart
lies a secret
yet to be heard.
Within my heart
lies a secret
soaring the sky's like a bird.
None know this secret
for the they care not to see
the pain within these eyes
from the conflict within me.
The conflict of death,
The conflict of life.
The blade I clutch
close to my heart
gives me peace
within the dark.
See not the happiness
from this mask of mine
but the pain that hides
within this heart of mine.
I fear to be alone
yet worship it all the same.
The feeling of being alone
can quench any pain
or so I thought.
