Oh how easy it is to ignore
Certain matters which we choose deliberately not to know.
People are affected all the time
Yet we don't give a dime
As "it's not us"
So "what's the fuss? "

Why, spread awareness about critical matters?
Or understand the plight of our fellow trotters,
Or even empathize with those in need
Or even think about a good deed?
As "it's not us"
So "what's the fuss? "

We never seem to realize
That, issues we would never visualize
Could very well happen to you and I
That's when you would stop to say "oh my! "
Would you then say "its not us"
So "what's the fuss? "

You won't be able to look away
Or click a button and scroll away.
Reality strikes when you expect it least
And it certainly is a beast!
So stop the whole "it's not us"
So "what's the fuss? "

Help others face their worlds of reality
With your best and strongest ability!
Make a difference in the life of another
Offer encouragement and support, be a brother
‘Cause it's ALWAYS about us,
As a friend is definitely worth the fuss!
