What’s There To Gain - Poem by Jennifer Hanson

How can u stumble
If you’re already down?
How do you laugh
While showing a frown?
What do you grasp
When there’s nothing to hold?
Why do we sell
What’s already sold?
Why do we steal
If your already rich?
How come you don’t kiss
But always hug?
What’s there to gain
In this painful place?
Only death, horror hurt
Is that the case?
