𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐖𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐞?
I look in the mirror and ask, Who am I?
What happened to the woman I used to be?
Anxiety, brain fog, no confidence in sight,
An emotional wreck—symptoms day and night.
What the hell is wrong with me?
Walking down the road, happy as can be,
Then I'm crying, praying no one can see.
What the hell is wrong with me?
I walk into a shop with purpose, with care,
But suddenly I'm lost—why am I here?
What the hell is wrong with me?
Cheeks glowing red, my body feels hot,
Oh, someone please tell me, when will this stop?
What the hell is wrong with me?
I remember when I was younger, so naïve,
Seeing older women and wondering why they grieve.
Now I understand—it's the change they faced,
The storm we weather, with courage embraced.
I second-guess everything I do,
But onward I go—my goals I'll pursue.
I remind myself, despite my strife,
I'm blessed to have reached this stage of life.
Now when I look in the mirror, I see:
I am strong. I am capable. I am still me.
This is just one of the storms we endure,
And like a tempest, it will pass—I am sure.
