What Was Then And There Poem by Michael Matsuda

What Was Then And There

Rating: 4.8

Axial rotational ride
Too beautiful to let yourself hide
Such short time on this lush green roller coaster
We can't spare clocks on braggers and boasters
We are but parasites to this overgenerous host
So we must make every word and letter mean the most.

With each comprehensive spin
There is; let this newborn life begin
In pale contrast, sad but true, one will end
A cycle, this populated sphere will commit again
Over such consequences, do not waste your tears
For these moments will accumulate into wasted years

From hatred, death, and fear to happiness, joy and love
My love, do not look down but past the stars above
This journey has been long; let us embrace this forever sleep
Embraced in my arms until then, you, I shall keep
Please understand these matters; smile and be glad
Life; this was the best idea you've ever had...
