What Was Your Point Poem by Richard Noggin

What Was Your Point

You called on the phone
To tell me you’re not alone
Asked me if I wanted our fish
Like they were children caught up in a divorce
You tell me you’re moving next door
To your ex-boyfriend’s parents
Like I need to know
All of this information
Why don’t you just put a bullet in my head instead
Either way the results are the same
